Peter Bowie started his football career in the 1960’s as a junior at the East Burwood Football Club. And as a lasting legacy after his passing in 2021, the club is excited to announce the Peter Bowie Football Academy.
Peter wanted all kids in the area to learn and love football just as much as he did. He asked his family to make sure the club had what it needed to run a clinic for kids to learn the skills that he learnt throughout his playing career at East Burwood and so the Peter Bowie Academy was developed.
This 3 session program that will run on the Sunday 12th Feb, 26th Feb and 19th Mar 2023.
This program will be delivered by the skilled coaches from Footy Smarts in conjunction with the club.
This academy is open to any child, members of the club or not.
This program is normally valued at over $160.00, but with the kind donation from Peter after his passing the club is offering this program to families for $60.00 for all 3 sessions.
If your child is signed up at the club to play in 2023, either before during or after the academy, they will receive the $60.00 back in club merchandise.
