Barry Caldwell Send Off
A message from Andrew Caldwell
There will be a send off for Barry Alexander Caldwell will be held next Sunday the 21st of March at 10.00am to 12.00pm.
In a fitting tribute to dad, our farewell will be held at his beloved East Burwood Football Club with much thanks to Libby Hadjiloukas to kindly offer the rooms and to open the bar for soft drinks, that dad loved to spend much of his time.
No need to bring any flowers or gifts on the day, his beloved car club of over 50 years, the Southern Hot Rod Club, will be hosting a special event on the day to honour Barry’s favourite pastime, hot rods. Some of Barry’s collectable items from some of his collections will be available in a mini swap meet type arrangement in honour of his passion for collecting at swap meets. There will be some hot rods attending, and we will all get to give Barry a huge ‘CHEERS’ with the cracking open of a can of coke each. SHRC president Grant Dunn will be randomly asking people of memories of dad, just whatever comes to mind when you think of Baz.
We hope you are able to join us for a fun day to celebrate the memory of a truly kind gentle caring man, and spend a little time enjoying his passion, who knows, you might get a bargain from one of his collections!
