UNDER 19’S COACHING APPOINTMENT
The East Burwood Football Club is delighted to announce the return of Adam Coghlan to the club in 2018 in the role of Under 19’s coach. Adam brings a wealth of experience to the job and will continue on the path taken this year in developing our young players and preparing them for senior football.
Adam played over 100 games with the Rams and has served as assistant coach at Doncaster in a premiership year. He has also coached junior teams at Heathmont FC for the past 4 years.
Collingwood 1990 Premiership player Doug Barwick also returns to the Rams in 2018 in a player development role. He will run clinics for junior players at the club as well as playing a key role in the development of coaches at the club. Doug has previously played and coached at East Burwood. He has also been assistant Coach at the Eastern Ranges in the TAC Cup and been an assistant Coach with Box Hill.
The committee welcome Adam, Doug and their families back to the club in season 2018. They join Stuart Wynd, Adam Slater, Scott Hunter and Luke Slater in returning to the Rams and committing to making the club a powerhouse of the EFL in the future.
