2016 Season
Dear Parents, Supporters and Players,
Welcome to the 2016 football season. Over the past few months the committee has been hard at work preparing for the upcoming season. As a community football club we are fortunate enough to have an active group of volunteers working behind the scenes, wonderful facilities and a strong commitment to developing our players both on and off the field.
There are a number of events that I would like you to put in your diaries at this early stage:
1. Junior Information Day – Sunday 6 March 10.30 am
We do require all players to attend this function. The committee and coaching staff will be introduced, new families welcomed and the expectations outlined for all club members. Merchandise will be available including socks and shorts. Mouthguards can be purchased from 10.00am. A flyer is attached to this email outlining the services of Sportsafe – one of our very generous sponsors.
2. “Black and White Ball” – Saturday 19 March
This promises to be a highlight of the year. This is a social event and wonderful way for both the senior and junior clubs to come together to remember our past and celebrate our future. Already we have over 300 confirmed people attending this event! We are looking for junior club attendance. Once again a flyer is attached and we really urge you to consider this event.
3. Practice Match – Sunday 20 March at Kingswood College
This is the confirmed practice match for U/11 – U/15 games. More details from individual coaches.
4. Round 1 Matches commence – Sunday 10 April
5. Team Photos – Monday 2 May (6.00pm)
6. Club Fundraising Event – Saturday 4 June
This annual event will be held in the Clubrooms commencing at 7.00pm.
